Bremerton FSC State Champions!!!!

Contratulations to the following members who won their division at the Washington State Games in July, giving them the title of State Champions and allowing them to advance to the State Games of America to be held next August in in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Alec Schmitt: Pre Preliminary Boys State Champion
Julianne Wurden: Pre Preliminary Girls State Champion

The following four club members also placed in the top four, allowing them to also advance to the State Games of America next year: 

Lindsey Burk: Pre Preliminary Girls Restricted (3rd)
Amber Cheremsak: Pre Preliminary Girls (2nd)
Sydney Halady: Pre Preliminary Girls (2nd)
Kendal Reynolds: Preliminary Girls (3rd)

Congratulations to these skaters - way to represent Bremerton FSC!!!!

Membership Applications Being Accepted

Membership applications are now being accepted for the upcoming season. If you are renewing your membership, it must be received with payment by July 31st, or if you are testing/competing in July, your membership must be renewed prior to the event.

Membership provides you US Figure Skating membership, monthly subscription to Skating magazine, ability to participate in club ice sessions/shows/exhibitions/seminars and classes, compete on behalf of Bremerton FSC at competitions, use of all club training equipment including the on ice harness, receive club rates at our test sessions and purchase club wear.

To join or renew, go to the Forms page and click on the link for 2008-2009 Membership Forms. Complete all forms and submit with payment. The forms can be given directly to the Membership Chair, Christina Schmitt, or give them to the rink front desk to put in the Figure Skating Club bin.

It takes US Figure Skating approzimately 8 weeks to process membership. You should receive your membership card and your Skating magazine within about 10 weeks. If you do not receive your card or magazine, please contact Christina Schmitt at cschmitt@wavecable.com.
