The Bremerton Figure Skating Club was established in November 2006. The principal purpose of the Club is to foster amateur figure skating on ice for local, national and international competitions and to support and develop amateur atheletes for those competitions. The club also strives to foster the enjoyment of figure skating for all skaters, regardless of ability. Therefore, there is no skating criterion to join our club, only that you enjoy figure skating. The Club has been organized to exist as a member club of US Figure Skating and, therefore, seeks to assist in carrying out the objects and purposes of U.S. Figure Skating in accordance with the provisions of the U.S. Figure Skating Bylaws and Official Rules. In order to fulfill this purpose, the club will hold US Figure Skating test sessions, seminars, camps, club sessions, and other skating activities which incorporate all levels of our skating community - from the beginning skater, to the advanced competitor. Bremerton Figure Skating Club's home rink is the Bremerton Ice Center, located at 1950 Homer Jones Drive Bremrton Wa. |
